PENNUNKYSELIJÄLLE / WHEN ASKING FOR A PUPPY

Nyt kun pennut on maailmaan syntyneet ja niiden olemassaolosta on ilmoitettu pentuvälityksen ja facebookin kautta, on kyselyitä alkanut tulemaan paljon! Koska jokaisen pennunkyselijän ohjaan ensin blogiin, niin voisin muutamaan usein toistuvaan kysymykseen/asiaan laittaa tähän jo vastauksen :)

Ennen kun lähdet kysymään pentua, kannattaa vasemmassa sarakkeessa olevan linkkilistan YHDISTELMÄÄN (eli vanhempiin) tutustua kunnolla, myös PENNUT sivulla pentukuvien alapuolella on tiivistettynä se mitä näistä pennuista odotan/toivon ihannetilanteessa luonteellisesti ja terveydellisesti kasvavan. Sitten se tärkein eli PENNUNKYSELIJÄLLE sivu! Tälle sivulle olen listannut omat vaatimukseni ja odotukseni uudelta kodilta, sen minkälaisen paketin kanssa pennut täältä lähtevät ja että mitä pennut täällä kokevat ennen uuteen kotiin muuttoa. Sivulla on myös esillä sijoitus- jalostusoikeus- ja osaomistuskoiran sopparivaateet ja ehdot mikäli tälläisestä on kiinnostunut :) Pennunkyselijälle- sivun alaosassa on myös nimenomaan pennunkyselijöille tarkoitettu lista joihin toivon jokaisen pennunostajan vastaavan kattavasti. Mitä enemmän infoa kerralla tulee sitä parempi!

Ja muutama muu asia jotka on tullut pentukyselyissä esiin joihin haluan vastata jo tässä vaiheessa:

• En myy pentuja värin perusteella. En katso pahalla jos itsellään on haave jostain tietystä väristä, haaveilu on aina sallittua, mutta loppujenlopuksi yhtä ainotta pentua en myy kenellekkään värin päättämänä, en turkin enkä silmien. Eli mikäli turkin/silmien väri on sinulle ratkaiseva asia, niin minulta ei valitettavasti löydy pentua teille. Sukupuoleen perustuvat toiveet ymmärrän hyvin :D
• Pennuista en ota pitäviä varauksia ennen kuin pentutarkastus on tehty, eli noin 5-6 viikon iässä vasta alan kunnolla miettimään mikä pentu lopulta menee mihinkin. Tämä siksi että tiedän myytävien pentujen olevan terveitä ja näen minkälaiset luonteet pennuilla on, ja osaan paremmin laittaa oikean pennun oikeaan kotiin luonteen ja terveyden perusteella.
• Pennut lähtevät VAIN aktiivisiin ja harrastaviin koteihin! Harrastuksella johon koiraa haetaan ei ole minulle väliä, poikkeuksena harrastuksissa mainitsen kuitenkin paimennusharrastuksen/työn, tähän en uskalla luvata toimivaa koiraa, sillä pentueen emä ei ole ollut lampailla koskaan eikä linjojensa puolesta siinä välttämättä toimi, ja vaikka isä on paimentanut ja syttynyt lampaille sekä linjojensa puolesta siihen sopisi, niin ei tämän yhdistelmän pennut paimennuksessa välttämättä ole pellon kirkkaimpia tähtiä :D Mutta pentuja EI myydä pelkiksi kotikoiriksi ja lenkkikaveriksi.

Now that the puppies have been born and I have put their ad up in the Finnish Kennel Clubs puppy list and Facebook, I have started to get quite a lot of inquiries about the puppies! As I guide all the puppy askers to my blog first I thought it could be good to put few answers to the frequently asked questions here :)

Before you ask for a puppy please take a look at the pages on the left side of the blog. The PARENTS page has all the information about the mother and father of the litter. On the PUPPIES page, after the photos of the puppies down the bottom, I have written about the litter, what I hope and wish the puppies will grow up to be temperament and healthwise. And the most important one is the FOR BUYER page! This page has all the information for the buyer, what my demands and expectations are for the new home, what the puppies will have with them when they leave and what they will experience here while growing up. On this page I also have the conditions for co-owned dogs and dogs sold with breeding rights if this is something you are interested in :) At the very bottom there is a list of questions that is made for the those who are interested in the puppies and I hope that everyone answers to those questions in their e-mail with as much information as possible, the more the better!

And then few answers to a few questions/things that I have gotten more than once so far:

• I do not sell the puppies based on color. If you fancy a certain color that is more than fine to me, but in the end I will not sell any puppies to anyone if the color of the puppy (or it's eyes) is the deciding factor. If the color is more important to you than anything else then I do not have a puppy for you. But I do understand very well if you have demands for the sex of the puppy :D
• I do not take any reservations before the puppies are 5-6 weeks old and have had their health checks done. After this I will start to think more about what puppies will go to what home. This is because I need to know that the puppies I am selling are healthy and I see their temperament bit better, only then can I make a better decision about placing the right puppy to the right home.
• The puppies will go ONLY to active hobby homes! I do not care much about the hobbies that the new owner wants to do, only exception I want to mention is herding as a hobby or as a job, I cannot promise a working herding dog since the mother of the litter has not been tested on sheep and does not herd and her pedigree is not from herding lines, and even though the father has been herding and is from working lines, I cannot promise that these puppies will shine in this aspect :D But the puppies will NOT be sold to be only a housedog and walking buddy.
